Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Temille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Temille comes to the cage accompanied by Blazin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temille stuffs the takedown attempt from Hendrix. Hendrix gets slowly back to his feet.
A nice leg kick lands there from Temille.
Hendrix misses with a takedown attempt - Temille sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hendrix shoots in but no luck this time.

Hendrix looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Temille is fending him off so far but Hendrix persists. Nope, Temille circles away and we're back to standing.

Temille comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Temille lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hendrix doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Temille swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Temille lands a slapping body shot.

Hendrix sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Temille closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hendrix to the mat! Hendrix manages to get full guard.
Temille is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hendrix wants to control the action here but instead Temille manages to pass to full mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hendrix tries to clinch up.
Temille stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hendrix.
Hendrix wants to clinch up but Temille keeps it at a distance.

and Temille counters with a body kick that stops Hendrix in his tracks momentarily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hendrix misses with a shot to the kidneys.

and Temille counters with a shoot takedown. Hendrix fights it but they end up in guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Temille counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Temille.

Hendrix using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Temille has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hendrix is looking to break free of the clinch but Temille has double underhooks.

Hendrix tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Temille counters with a low kick, right behind Hendrix 's knee.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Temille makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hendrix throws a left and a right that both miss
and Temille counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Temille throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hendrix.

and Temille counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hendrix throws a series of punches but Temille moves out of range.

and Temille counters with a three punch combo that has Hendrix backing up. Hendrix nods at Temille to acknowledge the strikes.
Temille will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Temille gets a clinch.
Hendrix tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Temille just stands there and leans against the cage.
Temille wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hendrix has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendrix jumps guard but Temille stands there with Hendrix around his waist. Hendrix gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hendrix tries to break the clinch but Temille is controlling the position.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Temille escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hendrix throws a sloppy body shot
and Temille counters with a nice body kick.
Temille stalks Hendrix and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hendrix's face. Hendrix staggers backwards, shaken.
Hendrix doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Temille counter with a right hand.

and Temille counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hendrix has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Temille is proving hard to escape from.

Hendrix is looking for a sweep. Temille is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Temille is controlling the pace.
Hendrix is pressing down on Temille's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Temille stands and steps away. Hendrix gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
