Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Dionys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rox Santa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rox Santa!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Santa does it's job there.
Santa misses with a combination

Santa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dionys avoids it really well and circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Santa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Santa looks to land a combination but Dionys avoids it well.
Santa throws a solid leg kick but Dionys takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Santa.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Santa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dionys has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dionys and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Santa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Santa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dionys can pounce on him.
Rox Santa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dionys lands a big head kick that sends Santa tumbling to the mat! Dionys takes a step backwards and waves Santa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dionys seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Santa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dionys.

Dionys buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Santa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dionys.

Santa on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Dionys counters with a nice low kick that buckles Santa's knee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Santa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Dionys counters with a body kick that stops Santa in his tracks momentarily.
Santa's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Santa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dionys and Santa are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Dionys throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Santa into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Dionys knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
