The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykourgos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gomez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lykourgos moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Hector Gomez has been cut.
Gomez dodges the punch combination from Lykourgos.
Gomez looks for the body kick but Lykourgos saw that one coming.
Lykourgos connects with a nice looking jab.

Lykourgos seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Lykourgos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lykourgos throws a nice looking combination but Gomez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gomez throws a head kick that Lykourgos semi-blocks.

Gomez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gomez throws a wild hook but Lykourgos just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Gomez gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Lykourgos raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
