Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Domon clinches up with Trainer and pushes him back against the cage.
Domon lands a nice knee to the body.
Trainer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Domon just stands there and leans against the cage.
Domon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Trainer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Domon smiles and moves away.
Domon is looking to clinch but Trainer is avoiding it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Domon.
Domon tries to clinch up but Trainer circles away and keeps his distance.

Trainer scores a takedown into full mount!
Trainer with shots to the head and body - Domon looks very uncomfortable down there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trainer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Domon manages to avoid the submission attempt.
