Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Devon King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Korgan Bloodaxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Devon King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Korgan Bloodaxe!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloodaxe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but King paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut there from King.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bloodaxe.
King misses with a takedown attempt
and Bloodaxe counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bloodaxe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
That kick from Bloodaxe tenderised King's leg. King is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bloodaxe lands with a cross.
King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bloodaxe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bloodaxe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
King misses with a straight right.
King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bloodaxe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
King blocks a head kick by Bloodaxe.
Bloodaxe looks to land a body kick but King moved away.
Bloodaxe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.

King darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

King thows a huge punch but Bloodaxe dodges it nicely.
Bloodaxe tries to roll over but King keeps him under control.
Bloodaxe is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard.
King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
King is pressing down on Bloodaxe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bloodaxe is holding on for now.
King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
King looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
King prevents Bloodaxe from improving his position.
King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bloodaxe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bloodaxe is defending against the submission attempts here by King.

King is trying to control. Bloodaxe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bloodaxe moves into full guard.
King throws a big elbow that misses.
King trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
King won't allow Bloodaxe to sweep him here.

King trying to control but Bloodaxe is working from the bottom.
Bloodaxe is trying to control the position but King postures up.

King lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bloodaxe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bloodaxe can do anything to dispel that myth.
King is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bloodaxe pulls King in close to his closed guard and prevents King from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King postures up in Bloodaxe's guard and throws a big left but Bloodaxe blocks it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Devon King dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


King looks for a takedown but Bloodaxe sprawls well.
King goes for a double leg but Bloodaxe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bloodaxe continues to drive forward.

King has clasped his hands together around Bloodaxe's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bloodaxe is pushing King's head away, looking to escape. King manages to hold on to the position though.

King is looking to advance position but Bloodaxe won't allow it.

Bloodaxe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King.
King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
King takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
King missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
King is trying to control the action in half guard but Bloodaxe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bloodaxe trying to control but King postures up.
King prevents Bloodaxe from standing back up.
Bloodaxe is looking to control King's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bloodaxe avoid being mounted?
King frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
King landing strikes from the mount.
King is landing with some decent strikes but Bloodaxe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Bloodaxe is in a horrible position here. King smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.


Bloodaxe is rocked!
King tries to control but Bloodaxe wriggling away.
Bloodaxe is still in real trouble! Can King finish him?
King drops a big elbow. That's hurt Bloodaxe! More shots from King and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Devon King!
A very excited looking Devon King made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
