Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Leone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
white is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Leone decides to stand back up.
Leone tries to clinch up but white circles away and keeps his distance.

Leone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leone lands in his opponent's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Leone wants to stand but white is controlling his posture from full guard.
Leone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
white keeping full guard, as Leone tries to pass.
Leone trying to control but white is working from the bottom.
Leone chips away with some ground and pound.

Leone gets to his feet - white follows without any prompting.

Leone tries to clinch but white moves out of range.
No luck for Leone with that takedown attempt.

Leone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Leone pulls guard.
white trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Leone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
white looks gassed!
Leone is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
white wants to stand but Leone is controlling his posture from full guard.
Leone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
white won't allow Leone to get back to his feet.
Leone looking to hit a scissor sweep but white is one step ahead there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
white tries a head kick but it misses.
white showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Leone.
Leone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Leone shoots in and drives through. white sprawls well.
white stuffs the takedown attempt from Leone. Leone gets slowly back to his feet.

white throws a head kick but Leone moves out of range.
white is looking to clinch but Leone is avoiding it.
white misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
white dodges the punch combination from Leone.

Leone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with white, pushing him back against the ropes.
white tries for a takedown but Leone manages to get underhooks.

Leone jumps guard and drags white to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

white wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Leone's closed guard. He's half up but Leone has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Leone pivots and extends the arm, white falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Leone! Well done that man!
