Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Vos!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Angle.
Angle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vos but Vos pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Angle tries to score with a low kick but Vos moves his leg out of the way.
Angle takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Vos lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Kurt Angle has been cut.
Angle misses with an uppercut.
Vos connects with a crisp jab.
Vos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Angle closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vos's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Our spies down at at Main Event Gym inform us that Vos has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Angle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Angle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vos has his foot on Angle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Angle works his way back into a safe position though.
