Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Davian Hawklight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ole Bighead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawklight comes to the cage accompanied by War Pimp Renaissance. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bighead lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hawklight tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bighead paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hawklight fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bighead has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hawklight gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

We've been informed that Bighead has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hawklight lands with a cross.
Hawklight takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hawklight fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Bighead shoots in looking for a takedown but Hawklight manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bighead's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hawklight misses with an uppercut. Bighead saw that one coming.
Bighead with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hawklight to score with a decent uppercut.

Hawklight moves into range and clinches up with Bighead.
Hawklight is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bighead is keeping busy.
Bighead misses with an elbow strike.
Bighead is trying to break the clinch but Hawklight is controlling him.

Bighead lands a hook that snaps the head of Hawklight backwards.

Bighead ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hawklight moves away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hawklight looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bighead walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Hawklight fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bighead checks it well.

Bighead fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hawklight on the side of the head.
Bighead shoots for a double leg takedown but Hawklight sprawls well. He's pushed Bighead's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Davian Hawklight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ole Bighead.

Hawklight tries to clinch there but Bighead circles away.
