Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Deleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Reed!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reed looking to score a takedown here. Deleon is defending well but Reed drives through and ends up in Deleon's guard.
Deleon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Deleon keeping full guard, as Reed tries to pass.
Reed won't allow Deleon to get back to his feet.
Reed not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Reed's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Sam Reed has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Deleon throws a left and a right that both miss

and Reed counters with a single leg into guard. Deleon didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reed sitting in guard here, content to control.

Deleon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reed on the ground.

Reed controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Deleon has momentary wrist control but Reed slips an elbow through the middle.
Reed sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sam Reed.
Deleon has his takedown stuffed

and Reed counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Reed works his foot free and advances to mount.
Reed controlling his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like Reed might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Deleon is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Reed has taken his back.

Reed is persistently looking for the submission but Deleon is defending it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Deleon holding both Reed 's hands and preventing any damage.
Deleon trying to control but not successfully.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Reed.
What can Deleon do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Deleon is trying to defend against the choke here but Reed has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Reed Tightens the hold and Deleon taps out furiously! Reed displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
