Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Lindsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Fitness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gary Fitness is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathaniel Lindsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Fitness!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsey fails with the takedown.
Lindsey tries a head kick but it misses.
Lindsey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sloppy strikes from Fitness. Those never looked like landing.
Fitness looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fitness stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitness wants it to stay on the feet.
Fitness lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lindsey circles away quickly and effectively.
Fitness is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lindsey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fitness but Fitness pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathaniel Lindsey. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lindsey drives through with a takedown into Fitness's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lindsey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lindsey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lindsey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fitness wants to stand up but Lindsey is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lindsey postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fitness is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lindsey, into his guard.
Lindsey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fitness scoring with punches to the head and body.
Lindsey has control of Fitness's left arm, preventing Fitness from doing any damage.
Fitness wants to stand but Lindsey has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fitness postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lindsey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Fitness decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lindsey, up you get!
Fitness lands with a nice combination. Lindsey backs away looking to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fitness misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lindsey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lindsey shoots in but no luck this time.

Fitness has managed to clinch.
Lindsey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fitness just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fitness prevents the takedown attempt.
Lindsey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fitness fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lindsey is breathing heavily.
Lindsey misses with a takedown attempt - Fitness sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

letting Fitness counter with a right hand.

Fitness misses with the combination.

Fitness getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lindsey throws a right and a left that Fitness avoids nicely.
Fitness throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fitness avoids the head kick by Lindsey.
Fitness scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


Lindsey is rocked!
Gary Fitness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fitness Throws a clean left jab. Fitness Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Lindsey's chin! Lindsey crumbles to the ground and Fitness follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Fitness!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gary Fitness!
