Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Hartin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ty Hartin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bear looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Hartin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Bear is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hartin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bear has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hartin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bear has Hartin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bear pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hartin tumbling to the mat - Bear dives into Hartin's guard.

Hartin doesn't manage to clinch there - Bear circles away.

Bear is breathing heavily.
Hartin blocks an uppercut.
Bear is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hartin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hartin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hartin throws a hook but Bear avoids it easily.

Bear uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hartin.

Bear fails to land the takedown.

Hartin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hartin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bear, up you get!
Bear keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bear shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hartin as he jumps to the side.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bear lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hartin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hartin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bear fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hartin tries to clinch up.

Hartin shoots in and bounces Bear off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hartin won't allow Bear to sweep him here.

Hartin gets to his feet - Bear follows without any prompting.
Bear avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bear looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hartin misses with a series of wild punches.
Hartin looks to throw the jab but Bear is out of range.

Bear clinches.
Hartin is trying to break free.
Bear has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hartin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hartin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Hartin has clasped his hands together around Bear's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Hartin has hold of Bear's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bear tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hartin cranks the arm and Bear screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bear, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
