Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Almir Zimmermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes into the arena with Hyper - We Control blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Almir Zimmermann!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zimmermann counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Zimmermann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nelson.
The fighters circling - Nelson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Zimmermann moves away from the strike by Nelson.
Nelson lands a jab-cross combination.
Nelson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zimmermann has Nelson up against the cage in a clinch.
Zimmermann jumps into guard, dragging Nelson to the mat.
Nelson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zimmermann to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Nelson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zimmermann pulls down on the head and he's put Nelson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Almir Zimmermann!
