Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Erickson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cruz somewhat.
Cruz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cruz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Erickson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Erickson throws a series of strikes that have Cruz backpedaling.
It looks like Felix Cruz has been cut.
Cruz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Erickson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cruz somewhat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Cruz!
Cruz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Erickson.
Erickson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Erickson duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Erickson throws a right hand that Cruz ducks under and follows up with a left that Cruz also avoids with ease.
Erickson stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cruz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Erickson as he jumps to the side.
Erickson lands with a big left! Cruz is wobbled badly! Erickson comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Cruz to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Wayde Erickson!
Felix Cruz was interviewed post fight and said 'I would like to thank my manager, my fans, my sponsors and my gym. I will be back hungry and ready for a battle.'.
