Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lime Lister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lime Lister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reginaldo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
Lister shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Lister.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Lister's front leg but catches the back leg as Lister tries to avoid it.
Lister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Silva tries to land a front kick but Lister steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Silva gets tackled into the cage by Lister. Lister maintains the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Silva.
Silva dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Lister pushes Silva back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lister is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Silva.
Silva tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lister's elbow.
Lister has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lime Lister. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva lands a nice uppercut.

Silva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silva manages to end up in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Silva misses with the ground and pound.
Silva throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Lister wants to control but Silva postures up.
Silva wants to control but Lister is keeping him busy.
Silva postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva scores with a couple of short elbows.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lister keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva landing strikes.
Silva misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Silva wants to control but Lister is keeping him busy.
Lister manages to work his way to half guard, despite Silva's best efforts.
Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lister with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lister is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Oh Lister is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Silva is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Lister is hurt! He's hurt bad - Silva fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Lister from any more punishment! Congratulations to Silva! Great finish!

After the fight, Reginaldo Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
