PrudHomme has chosen Chanson des bons Légumes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tom Hagen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hagen.
Hagen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - PrudHomme looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Hagen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hagen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but PrudHomme regains guard immediately.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
PrudHomme wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hagen has an Americana. PrudHomme didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hagen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hagen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
