The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Grey counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Grey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ruke swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ruke closes the distance and pushes Grey back into the cage.

Ruke lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ruke is looking for a kimura here.
Ruke not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ruke prevents Grey from standing back up.
Ruke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ruke seems to be looking for submissions.
Ruke is trying to control the action in half guard but Grey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
