Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julma Jupeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass lands with a nice body punch.

Jupeli gets caught flat footed, as Bass shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bass has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jupeli moves forwards but Bass connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Bass wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jupeli keeps working.

Jupeli is desperately trying to improve his position but Bass has a good base and remains in mount.

Bass stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Bass has taken the fight to the clinch.

Jupeli tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bass lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jupeli at a distance.

Jupeli tries a body shot but Bass blocks it.
Bass tries to land a knee to the head but Jupeli blocks with his arms.
Jupeli is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Jupeli closes the distance and clinches up with Bass, looking for a takedown. Jupeli pushes Bass against the cage but Bass circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's time! Bass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jupeli gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jupeli gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bass.
Jupeli has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bass avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
