PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Oliveira shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Oliveira decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oliveira really is a fat lump.

Oliveira successfully pulls guard.
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oliveira . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Oliveira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oliveira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyson 's guard.
Oliveira stays in close to Tyson 's body and controls the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Gustavo Oliveira wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tyson darts in trying to clinch

and Oliveira moves into the clinch.
Oliveira has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Tyson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Oliveira clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Oliveira is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Tyson pulls guard effortlessly.
Oliveira is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oliveira is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Oliveira thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Oliveira is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Oliveira slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Oliveira is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Oliveira cracks Tyson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Oliveira is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tyson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Oliveira stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Oliveira fails to land with a series of punches.

Oliveira works to advance to full mount. Tyson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Tyson drives through with a takedown into Oliveira 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Oliveira has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Oliveira pushes Tyson off and scrambles back to his feet.

Oliveira turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oliveira looks up at the clock and then as Tyson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Oliveira smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tyson is trying to escape the position but Oliveira is controlling the position.

Oliveira is working to tighten his grip on Tyson 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tyson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oliveira is really squeezing tight and eventually Tyson passes out! Oliveira breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
