The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pathos lands a head shot.
It looks like Aaaaaaa Aaaaaaa has been cut.
Aaaaaaa misses with a takedown
and Pathos counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pathos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aaaaaaa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ian Pathos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aaaaaaa looks winded!
Pathos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Aaaaaaa did well to prevent Pathos getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pathos working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Aaaaaaa has hold of Pathos's hands but Pathos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Pathos lands with a punch from half guard.
Pathos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Pathos lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Aaaaaaa! More strikes land and this one is all over! Pathos jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian Pathos!
Ian Pathos decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
