The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aomine closes the distance and clinches up with Kanor, looking for a takedown. Aomine pushes Kanor against the cage but Kanor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aomine shoots in for a double leg but Kanor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've been hearing reports that Kanor has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kanor closes the distance and clinches.
Aomine tries to score a body lock takedown but Kanor shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Aomine tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kanor defends well and Aomine ends up having to push Kanor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kanor is fighting off a takedown attempt but Aomine is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kanor to the mat. Kanor regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Daiki Aomine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Aomine shoots for a double leg takedown but Kanor sprawls well. He's pushed Aomine's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mang Kanor.
