Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Moody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Slaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nathan Moody!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cole Slaw!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaw looks to clinch

and Moody moves into the clinch.

Moody pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Slaw shoots in and bounces Moody off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Slaw trying to control but Moody is working from the bottom.
Moody will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Slaw is fighting to break Moody's control of his arms but Moody is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Moody is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cole Slaw.

Slaw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moody looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moody is trying to control Slaw's posture but Slaw avoids it.

Slaw looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Moody can't do much from the bottom here.
Moody is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Slaw tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slaw has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Slaw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Slaw tries to move into full mount but can't pass Moody's legs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moody gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moody manages to control the position for a moment.
Slaw trying to control but Moody is having none of it.
Slaw wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Slaw has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Moody is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Cole Slaw!
During a confident post fight interview, Cole Slaw thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
