Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Myles Boone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamala Chichu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamala Chichu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Myles Boone's chin.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chichu slips a jab and a cross from Boone.
Chichu tries to land a front kick but Boone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boone shoots in for a double leg but Chichu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boone looks for a takedown but Chichu sprawls well.
Chichu wants to clinch up but Boone keeps it at a distance.

Chichu moves into the clinch.
Boone is trying to pull guard but Chichu turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Myles Boone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chichu has clasped his hands together around Boone's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chichu is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Boone will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Chichu's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Chichu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Boone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chichu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kamala Chichu.
Boone shoots in looking for a takedown. Chichu tries to sprawl out of it but Boone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chichu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boone shoots for a double leg takedown but Chichu sprawls well. He's pushed Boone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Chichu gets a clinch.
Boone is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chichu to keep the fight standing.
Boone drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Chichu turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Chichu lands a few punches from side control.

Boone seems a little lost for a moment, as Chichu dominates the positioning.
Boone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chichu on the ground.

It looks like Chichu might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Chichu has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Boone!
Chichu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chichu scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Chichu lands a big shot there that rocks Boone but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Chichu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kamala Chichu dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Boone circles away from the clinch attempt.

Chichu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Boone lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chichu backwards.
Boone lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Boone has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Boone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chichu pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Chichu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Chichu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boone's guard.
Chichu content to control rather than advance.
Boone is looking for a sweep. Chichu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Boone on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Chichu is thwarting Boone's attempts to control the position.
Chichu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boone!

Chichu lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Boone is rocked!

Oh Boone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chichu breaks from Boone's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Chichu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
A big strike lands for Chichu! That's really hurt Boone and he's turned his back - Chichu keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Chichu jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
