Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Graig Holman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan has chosen I Walk Alone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan shoots and misses

and Holman counters by clinching up.
Holman is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Holman breaks the clinch.
Morgan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses.

Holman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morgan to the mat! Morgan manages to get full guard.

Morgan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Holman defends well.
Holman postures up and lands a big shot to Morgan's brow.
Holman chips away with some ground and pound.

Morgan has momentary wrist control but Holman slips an elbow through the middle.

and Holman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Holman.

Morgan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holman smiles and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Holman throws a hook but Morgan avoids it easily.

and Holman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Holman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Holman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Morgan has an active guard here but Holman has managed to pass into half guard.
Holman lands with a punch from half guard.

Holman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Holman drops an elbow to the side of Morgan's head.

Morgan wants to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holman is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Holman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Morgan is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Holman is controlling him well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holman cracks Morgan with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Morgan from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Holman is trying to stick to Morgan's back but Morgan is turning into Holman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Holman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Morgan.

Morgan has gone for a leg lock! Holman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Morgan's guard.

Morgan wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Holman has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Morgan's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Morgan is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Holman!

Jared Morgan was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm Sorry to my fans for dissapointing them. This is not the end of me'.
