Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Thump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrious Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smiff has chosen Nutz On Ya Chin by Eazy E as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Demetrious Smiff enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thump's waist but Thump gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smiff off to one side.
Smiff throws a looping overhand right but Thump ducks down to avoid it.
Thump blocks a low kick nicely.
Smiff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thump throws a quick inside leg kick.
Smiff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thump manages to avoid it.
Thump blocks a head kick by Smiff.
Smiff throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smiff moves out of range of the body kick from Thump.
A low kick from Smiff is predictable there
and Thump counters with a slapping leg kick.
Thump lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thump throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Demetrious Smiff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Smiff misses.
Thump lands a big head kick that sends Smiff to the canvas! Thump follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Thump!
Big Thump retains his heavyweight title!
Our winner, Big Thump, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
