Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes into the arena with Era - The Mass blaring out of the sound system. Dimitri Emelianenko is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Flores fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Emelianenko, pushing him back against the cage.

Flores breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Emelianenko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt.
Emelianenko takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Emelianenko misses with a looping left.
Dimitri Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Flores.
Emelianenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Flores circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Emelianenko.

A left lands for Flores.
Flores lands a front kick.

Flores decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Flores is trying to work for a kimura but Emelianenko is defending well.
Emelianenko is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flores throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Flores wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emelianenko keeps working.
Flores is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Emelianenko throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Emelianenko shoots in and bounces Flores off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Flores is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Emelianenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Emelianenko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Emelianenko tries to get out of the position.
Flores content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Flores passes the guard and advances to mount!
Emelianenko is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Flores working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Flores scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Flores blocks Emelianenko's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Flores trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Emelianenko flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Flores has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Emelianenko's face.

Emelianenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flores on the ground.

Flores is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Emelianenko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Flores can't control as he wanted to and Emelianenko manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Flores seems to be working for a kimura but Emelianenko defends the submission attempt.

Flores wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping him busy.
Emelianenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Flores doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Emelianenko counters with a shoot takedown. Flores fights it but they end up in guard.

Emelianenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flores swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Flores lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Emelianenko!
Emelianenko is in all sorts of trouble here.
Emelianenko is squirming around, avoiding Flores's attempts to control the action.

Flores manages to capitalize on a mistake by Emelianenko to take his back!

Flores has got one arm under Emelianenko's chin. This could be trouble... Emelianenko trying to control the other hand but Flores gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Emelianenko has tapped out! The fight is over!
