Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertuccio misses with a takedown attempt
and Burkam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Burkam moves out of range as Bertuccio throws a body kick.
Bertuccio gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bertuccio avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Burkam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bertuccio swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bertuccio is looking for a triangle but Burkam pushes his legs off easily.
Burkam seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bob Burkam hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bertuccio misses with an uppercut.
Bertuccio with a poor takedown
and Burkam holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bertuccio has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Burkam after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giovanni Bertuccio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burkam tries for a takedown but Bertuccio manages to get underhooks.
Bertuccio is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Burkam gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
