The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ron Honeybunn and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Givi trying to hold on to Salo's head to control him but Salo postures up.
Salo prevents Givi from improving his position.
Salo is looking to take a break and control but Givi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Givi throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Givi tries to get to full guard but Salo has control of the leg.
Salo tries to stand and escape but Givi is controlling the position.
Givi is controlling Salo's trapped leg to prevent Salo from advancing to side control.
Salo prevents Givi from improving his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Salo scores with a shot to the body.
Givi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Salo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Givi is in Salo's guard.

Salo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Givi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Salo wants to sweep here but Givi controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ara Givi was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Salo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Givi manages to get to full guard.
Givi has Salo pulled in close to control his posture.
Givi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Salo wants to control from the top but Givi keeps moving.
Givi striking off his back but it's not causing Salo any problems.

Givi is trying to keep Salo in close.
Givi has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Salo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Givi has tightened it up now! Salo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
