Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmons comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Listen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Smith!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Timmons lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Smith backs up against the cage.

Smith lands with a slapping head kick.


It looks like Jordan Timmons has been cut.
Timmons shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Timmons's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Smith throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Timmons's head.

Timmons shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Smith is trying to defend but Timmons finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Timmons in particular looking to stall.

Smith should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Timmons jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Timmons gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
