Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buster Knott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knott comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West vs. The xx - Touch The Sky (Carlos Serrano Mix) . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buster Knott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sean Tate!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Knott.
Tate lands a head shot.
Knott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tate sprawls well. Tate wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Knott gets slowly back to his feet.
Tate has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
An inside leg kick lands from Knott.
Knott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tate sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knott somewhat.
Tate throws a lazy uppercut

and Knott counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Knott tries to free his leg and advance position but Tate is retaining full guard.
Knott is working hard here to advance position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Knott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Knott is looking to stand up but Tate won't let him.
Knott has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Knott is pushing down on Tate's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tate is fighting to maintain full guard but Knott has managed to sneak the leg through.
Knott trying to control the pace.
Tate controlling the position for now.
Knott not doing much here.
Knott throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Knott is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

We're going to have a standup here because Buster Knott wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tate connects with a good right hand that stumbles Knott. Knott circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Knott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tate misses with a hook.
Nice cross by Tate.
Knott shoots in for a double leg but Tate sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buster Knott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Knott tries to close the distance and clinch but Tate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Buster Knott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tate stuffs the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tate. That did some damage!
Knott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tate manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sean Tate is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Knott fails with the takedown
and Tate counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Knott blocks a jab.
Knott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Knott moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Knott drives through with a takedown into Tate's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Tate working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Knott.

Knott stands and steps away. Tate gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knott closes the distance but Tate moves to the side
and Tate counters with a stiff right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tate fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Knott, right into the meat.
Tate has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knott finds it's way round the side to connect with Tate's head.
Knott lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Knott closes the distance and clinches up with Tate, looking for a takedown. Knott pushes Tate against the cage but Tate circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Knott lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Knott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tate defends it nicely.
Knott turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Knott shoots for a double leg takedown but Tate sprawls well. He's pushed Knott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tate waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Knott.
Knott throws a front kick that sends Tate stumbling back into the cage.
Knott fails to land the takedown.
Tate walks into a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buster Knott dominated that round.
That's time! Knott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Knott scores with a one two! Tate had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Buster Knott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Tate gets caught napping as Knott dives in and scores a takedown. Tate manages to retain guard.
Knott wants to control from the top but Tate keeps moving.
Knott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Knott sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tate's guard.
Knott is keen to just control but Tate is a slippery customer.

Knott is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Knott looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Knott is working for a submission of some sort.

Knott is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Knott sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Knott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tate's head.

Knott is looking for a kimura here.

Knott seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tate is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Buster Knott!
Buster Knott spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
