Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage has chosen "Killing In The Name Of" by Rage Against the Machine as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charlie Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Savage!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase throws a series of punches but Savage avoids them all with ease.
Chase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Savage drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Savage is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chase has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chase keeps working.

Savage tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Savage has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Savage is looking to take a break and control but Chase is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chase is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Chase might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Chase is working hard here to advance position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A big head kick from Chase and Savage is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Savage is rocked!
Chase forces his way into half guard.
Savage is still in real trouble! Can Chase finish him?

Chase has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Savage defend it? Chase steps over the head and cranks it - Savage is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Chase!
