Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daemon Stilfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tupi Caqui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stilfer comes to the cage accompanied by Worried. Caqui has chosen Bate pesadão - Pregador luo as his entrance music. Daemon Stilfer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tupi Caqui!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stilfer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Caqui circles away quickly and effectively.
Stilfer blocks a head kick by Caqui.
Caqui tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stilfer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stilfer throws a head kick but Caqui moves out of range.
Stilfer lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Tupi Caqui has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Caqui has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Caqui is defended easily by Stilfer.

Stilfer is not content to let Caqui control the position.

Stilfer pushes Caqui away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Caqui gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Caqui throws a strike aimed at the side of Stilfer's head but Stilfer avoids it well.
Caqui thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Stilfer is trying to buck Caqui off.

Caqui tries to score with some ground and pound. Stilfer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daemon Stilfer will probably get the nod.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Caqui.
Stilfer gets a double leg takedown into Caqui's guard.
Caqui has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stilfer postures up in Caqui's guard and throws a big left but Caqui blocks it.
Stilfer connects with a couple of short punches.
Caqui working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stilfer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stilfer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Caqui is breathing heavily.

Stilfer is sitting in close to Caqui's body. Caqui has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Stilfer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Stilfer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Caqui.
