The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weichel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haggstrom as he avoids it easily.

Weichel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Weichel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Haggstrom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weichel has managed to get both his arms back between Haggstrom's legs - danger averted.

Haggstrom has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Weichel doesn't defend quickly enough and Haggstrom has managed to lock this one up! Can Weichel escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Haggstrom on a fantastic submission victory.
