Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Machine Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cannon comes to the cage accompanied by Fall out boy - Light em up. Machine Cannon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nico Vega!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon moves to clinch but Vega breaks away
and Vega counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cannon's knee momentarily.
Vega avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cannon closes the distance but Vega moves to the side
and Vega counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Vega takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cannon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cannon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vega momentarily.
Cannon tries to close the distance and clinch but Vega swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Vega finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Vega throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Cannon stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Vega follows into mount!

It looks like Machine Cannon has been cut.
Vega looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Vega tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nico Vega.
