Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Reem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melvin Reem has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Melvin Reem!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reem defends it nicely.

Chaos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Reem wants to get back to full guard.
Chaos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reem does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Reem avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chaos.
Chaos wants to control but Reem is keeping him busy.

Chaos decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Chaos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Reem connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Reem circles away from the clinch attempt.
Reem avoids a punch combination nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Reem wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Reem is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Chaos is staying active.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Chaos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reem tries to avoid it but Chaos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reem to the ground. Reem escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Melvin Reem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Chaos is looking to control Reem's arms but Reem gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chaos has his back to the cage.
