The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Reilly.
A head kick by Smith misses
and Reilly counters with a head kick.
Reilly goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Smith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Smith lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Reilly down.
Smith working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Reilly is looking for a sweep.
Smith wants to stand but Reilly is controlling his arm.
Smith tries to advance position but instead Reilly slips a leg back in to half guard.

Smith sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Reilly doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Smith paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Reilly - great work!
