Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mang Kanor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mang Kanor has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mang Kanor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Congo!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kanor. No joy for Congo on that attempt.
Kanor closes the distance and clinches up with Congo, looking for a takedown. Kanor pushes Congo against the cage but Congo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kanor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Congo's waist but Congo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kanor off to one side.
Kanor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Congo sprawls well. Congo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kanor gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mang Kanor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kanor wants to clinch.
Kanor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Congo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kanor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Congo circles away.
Congo wants to clinch up but Kanor keeps it at a distance.
Kanor slips a jab from Congo.
Kanor shoots and misses
and Congo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Congo.

Kanor tries to pull guard but Congo holds him up against the cage and eventually Kanor drops back down to his feet.
Kanor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Congo uses from the top position.
Congo tries to free his leg and advance position but Kanor is retaining full guard.
Congo trying to control but Kanor is working from the bottom.
Kanor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Congo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Congo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kanor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Congo manages to get himself to full guard.
Congo striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Congo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kanor throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Congo's body to avoid the submission. Congo has instead reached around Kanor's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Congo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Joe Congo!
