The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dekkers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dekkers lands with a kick to the temple. Burgess shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Davis Burgess has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Dekkers .
Dekkers feints and then cracks Burgess's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burgess down.
Dekkers swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Burgess throws a right and a left that Dekkers avoids nicely.
Dekkers misses with a head kick.
Burgess really is a fat lump.
Dekkers lands with a slapping head kick.
Dekkers wants to slow Burgess down by chopping away at his legs.
Dekkers misses with a body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dekkers lands a leg kick that knocks Burgess off balance momentarily.

Dekkers tries to work over Burgess's front leg with a kick but Burgess checks it.
Dekkers throws a chopping leg kick but Burgess manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Dekkers tries to score with a low kick but Burgess moves his leg out of the way.
Dekkers motions for Burgess to come forward. Dekkers throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dekkers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dekkers does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dekkers lands a nice looking kick to the body. Burgess takes a step back to recover.

Dekkers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dekkers throws a head kick that half lands.

Burgess is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dekkers scores with a spinning back kick!
Oh Burgess is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burgess is breathing heavily.
Dekkers connects with a leg kick. Burgess looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Dekkers looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dekkers backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Burgess's temple! It sends Burgess violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dekkers celebrates and the doctors try to help Burgess!
