Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deejay Vendetta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and charles king (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vendetta comes to the cage accompanied by Five Finger Death Punch - The Bleeding. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
king looks to land a left hand but Vendetta moved out of range nicely.
king cracks the inside of Vendetta's front leg.
Vendetta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vendetta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
king catches Vendetta with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
king misses with a two punch combination.
king stuffs the takedown.

and Vendetta holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Vendetta tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Vendetta had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. king is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vendetta Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take king's back instead.
Vendetta is breathing heavily.
Vendetta is not going to allow king to sit and survive in this position.
king really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vendetta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

king must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
king slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

That was a close round but I would say that Deejay Vendetta will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
king keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Vendetta defending well as king loads up on a big left hand.
Vendetta throws a head kick that misses.
king is looking to slow Vendetta down with leg kicks.

king will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
king dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
king throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Vendetta throws a head kick but king moves out of range.
king throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vendetta stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A left and a right from king both land. Nice combination.
Vendetta avoids the head kick by king.
king works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
king circles away from the clinch attempt.
king blocks a head kick by Vendetta.
king misses with a jab, cross combination.
A big right from king misses.
king goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A left lands for king.

king swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Vendetta counters with a single leg into guard. king didn't expect that.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
king not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vendetta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

king is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Vendetta gets his way!
king tries to roll but Vendetta sticks to his back.
Vendetta looking to break king's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. king remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Vendetta will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Vendetta has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. king is defending well but eventually Vendetta manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! king has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
