And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgens throws a nice looking combination but Riley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Higgens leaves Riley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Higgens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A punch combination from Higgens misses.
Riley tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Higgens counters with a two punch combo.
Higgens throws a nice inside leg kick.
Higgens swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Riley tries to move into range but Higgens moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Higgens closes the distance and pushes Riley back into the cage.

Higgens lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Higgens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Higgens misses with a series of wild punches.
Riley gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Higgens gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Riley is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
