The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Pedo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Filipovic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Del Pedo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Filipovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Del Pedo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Del Pedo drops back looking for a leg! Filipovic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Filipovic manages to kick Del Pedo off! Del Pedo jumps back into Filipovic's guard.
Filipovic wants to get back to his feet but Del Pedo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Del Pedo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Filipovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Del Pedo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Del Pedo cracks Filipovic with a solid left hand.
Filipovic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Del Pedo stops Filipovic from standing up.

Del Pedo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Filipovic has momentary wrist control but Del Pedo slips an elbow through the middle.
Del Pedo throws a big right hand that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Del Pedo stands up over Filipovic, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Del Pedo drops back looking for a leg! Filipovic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Filipovic manages to kick Del Pedo off! Del Pedo jumps back into Filipovic's guard.

Del Pedo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Del Pedo seems to have locked his on tight now - Filipovic screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Del Pedo, as he picks up the win!
