Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Aslamanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Ruslan Aslamanov!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aslamanov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Basics -LOD- . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Jo dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Alexander Jo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
