The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Morales tries to pull guard but Joner holds him up against the cage and eventually Morales drops back down to his feet.
Morales throws a head punch that misses.
Morales tries to score a body lock takedown but Joner shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Morales shoots for a takedown but Joner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Joner for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Morales tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joner smiles and moves away.

Joner will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Morales up against the cage.

Morales is trying desperately to land a takedown but Joner is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Morales.
Morales wants to take the fight to the mat but Joner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Morales takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Joner's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
