Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Helio Perrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yves Jabouin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabouin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Trobule On My Mind- Pusha T and Tyler The Creator. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabouin staying out of range there.

Perrera shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Perrera has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Perrera seems to be working for a kimura but Jabouin defends the submission attempt.
Perrera has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Perrera tries to control but Jabouin wriggling away.
Jabouin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jabouin tries to lock up and control but Perrera gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
BOOM! Perrera connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jabouin is squirming around, avoiding Perrera's attempts to control the action.
Perrera is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jabouin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Perrera fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Perrera prevents Jabouin from getting the reversal.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Perrera looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Jabouin tries to lock up and control but Perrera gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jabouin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perrera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Perrera lands with some strikes.

Perrera goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jabouin is on top in guard.

Perrera escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jabouin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Perrera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jabouin defends well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jabouin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jabouin cracks Perrera with an open hand slap.
Jabouin stuns Perrera with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Perrera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jabouin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Perrera is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jabouin is trying to escape and Perrera transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jabouin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Perrera! Very nice indeed!
