PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riley Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunken Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Psychosocial by Slipknot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Riley Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Drunken Hare!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan tries to keep at a distance but Hare has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hare tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Morgan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hare seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morgan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Morgan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Morgan cracks Hare with an uppercut from hell and Hare crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Morgan's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!


That has opened up Drunken Hare's cut even more.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Morgan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hare on the side of the head.
Hare stuffs the takedown attempt from Morgan. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet.
Morgan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


The cut above Drunken Hare's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Morgan tries to bum rush Hare with a series of wild strikes but Hare uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Morgan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Drunken Hare's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hare changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morgan tries to avoid it but Hare manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morgan to the ground. Morgan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Riley Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drunken Hare.
Morgan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Morgan throws a right and a left that Hare avoids nicely.
Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hare swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hare looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morgan is fending him off so far but Hare persists. Nope, Morgan circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Morgan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hare doesn't seem phased though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Riley Morgan will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Morgan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
