PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mako Hyuga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kacper Glowacki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glowacki has chosen Teenange Mutant Ninja Turtles intro as his entrance music. Kacper Glowacki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mako Hyuga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kacper Glowacki!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyuga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Glowacki but Glowacki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Hyuga with that takedown attempt.
Hyuga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Glowacki tries to avoid it but Hyuga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Glowacki to the ground. Glowacki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mako Hyuga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Glowacki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Glowacki drops back looking for a leg! Hyuga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hyuga manages to kick Glowacki off! Glowacki jumps back into Hyuga's guard.

Glowacki is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hyuga wants to get back to his feet but Glowacki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Glowacki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hyuga dives on top into guard.

Hyuga wants to control from the top but Glowacki keeps moving.
Hyuga postures up and lands a big shot to Glowacki's brow.

Hyuga is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Glowacki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hyuga is looking to defend but Glowacki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hyuga! Glowacki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hyuga taps out and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Kacper Glowacki thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
