Westside has chosen Queen - Another One Bites The Dust as his entrance music. Warren Westside has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tronic Thermo's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westside tries to clinch there but Thermo circles away.
Thermo misses with a wild body shot.

Westside uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thermo.
Westside shoots in but no luck this time.
Thermo throws a nice looking combination but Westside bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thermo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Westside momentarily.
Thermo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Westside's waist but Westside gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thermo off to one side.
Thermo drops Westside with a beautiful combination! Westside stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thermo is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Westside tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thermo was well out of range. Poor timing from Westside.
The crowd cheers as Westside lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thermo doesn't seem phased though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

You can see the frustration on Thermo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Thermo manages to get back to half guard.
Thermo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Westside is working away from the top position though.
Thermo tries to roll over but Westside keeps him under control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Westside wants to take a breather but Thermo is having none of it.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Thermo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Thermo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Westside throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thermo.

Thermo throws a right hand that Westside ducks under and follows up with a left that Westside also avoids with ease.

Westside has closed the distance and engaged Thermo in a clinch.
Westside's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Westside looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thermo!
Westside is going olschool here, as he tries to force Thermo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Thermo shrugs it off.

Thermo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Thermo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Westside's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Westside's back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Thermo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Westside can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Thermo cracks Westside with an open hand slap.
Westside throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thermo shoots in but no luck this time.
Westside closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Westside lands in his opponent's guard.

Thermo has his foot on Westside's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Westside works his way back into a safe position though.

Westside keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Thermo's head.

Thermo wants to sweep here but Westside controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Westside's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Westside wants to control from the top but Thermo keeps moving.
Westside throws and elbow that misses. Thermo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Westside's guard. Nice move by Thermo!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Westside throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Thermo because Westside loaded up on that one.

Thermo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Westside is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
