The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with a takedown attempt - Check sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice takedown defense from Check. No joy for Evans on that attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Check as Evans shoots in.
Johnny Check has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Evans.
Evans tries to clinch up but Check circles away and keeps his distance.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Check paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Check drops Evans with a left right combo! Check follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Michael Evans has been cut.
Evans is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Evans wants to get back to his feet but Check drags him back down.
Evans looking for a sweep but Check has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Check gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Evans looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Check, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Check against the cage but Check circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Evans swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Check counters with a nice uppercut.
Check throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Evans stumbling backwards into the cage! Evans bounces back off the cage towards Check, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Check lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Check celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
