Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tupac - Hit em up'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez misses with an uppercut. Thompson saw that one coming.
Lopez throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Thompson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thompson.

Thompson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lopez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thompson has Lopez in his guard.

The fighters circle momentarily. Thompson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Lopez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Thompson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lopez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Thompson's back instead.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thompson is on top in guard.

Well Thompson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
