Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexander Finley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson drives through and clinches with Finley against the cage.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Finley fails to pull the fight into his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Finley is on top in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jackson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Finley puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Jackson pushes Finley off looking to stand but Finley dives back in and keeps control.

Finley is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Finley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Finley eventually gives up the hold.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alexander Finley will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Finley shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Finley gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch.

Jackson pulls guard.
Jackson wants to control the position but Finley says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Jackson tries to roll over but Finley keeps him under control.

Finley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Finley eventually gives up the hold.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

Finley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Finley.

Finley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jackson works his way to full guard. Good work.

Finley drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Finley off! Finley jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Finley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jackson is trying to keep Finley in close.

A close second round but George Jackson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Finley is sitting in close to Jackson's body. Jackson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Finley is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Finley is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jackson.
