Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cat Litter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Hunting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cat Litter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Will Hunting!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Litter wants to clinch up but Hunting keeps it at a distance.
A jab from Hunting finds it's way through Litter's defenses.


It looks like Cat Litter has been cut.
Hunting swinging wilding here.
Hunting bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Litter! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Litter is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Litter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hunting stacks Litter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hunting!
Oh Litter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Litter manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hunting's best efforts.
Litter seems to have got his legs back now.

Litter looking for submissions off his back.
Litter is trying to get back to full guard.

Hunting escapes and gets back to his feet.

Hunting lands a slapping body shot.
Litter tries to clinch but Hunting is having none of it.
Hunting motions for Litter to come forward. Hunting throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

No joy there for Hunting, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Litter fails with the takedown.
Litter throws a right and a left that Hunting avoids nicely.

and Litter counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hunting!
Hunting really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Litter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Litter working for a submission but Hunting is keeping him at bay.
Litter is breathing heavily.

Litter throwing strikes here but Hunting is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Litter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunting is looking to escape.

Litter jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hunting is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hunting and Litter has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hunting parries the strikes from Litter easily there. Litter is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hunting to escape.

Hunting wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Litter tries for a kimura but Hunting is defending well.
Hunting struggling a bit here.

Litter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hunting rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Litter's guard! Nice work there by Hunting!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Litter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Hunting decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hunting changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will Hunting dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Cat Litter's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Litter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hunting.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hunting and sends Litter crashing to the mat! Hunting follows him down to the mat - Litter regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Litter is pressing down on Hunting's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Hunting is looking to stand up but Litter won't let him.

Litter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunting doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunting manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Litter has an active guard here but Hunting has managed to pass into half guard.
Well, if Hunting is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Litter wants to control but Hunting is keeping busy.

Litter looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Litter wants to get back to full guard.
Litter is trying to control but Hunting manages to pass to mount!
Litter is trying to reverse the position but instead Hunting has taken his back - oops!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
You can see the frustration on Litter's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Hunting doesn't have the hooks in and Litter manages to turn into his guard.
Hunting is looking to stand up but Litter isn't so interested in that idea.
Litter tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunting is retaining full guard.
Hunting is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Litter forces his way into half guard.

Litter is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Litter wants to free his trapped foot but Hunting is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Litter is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Hunting as he works his way to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Litter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunting is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Litter being controlled here momentarily.

Hunting uses the cage to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will Hunting showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Hunting throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Litter just misses with a punch to the body.
Hunting stuffs the takedown.
Hunting throws a nice looking combination but Litter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A combination from Hunting does no damage.
Hunting avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Litter closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hunting stuffs the takedown attempt from Litter. Litter gets slowly back to his feet.
Hunting swings for the body but Litter moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Litter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cat Litter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hunting throws a left and a right that both miss

and Litter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Litter seems to be working for a kimura but Hunting defends the submission attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Litter is working for a kimura but Hunting is defending it quite comfortably.

Hunting is defending against the submission attempts here by Litter.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hunting makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hunting.
Litter passes Hunting's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Litter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Litter is looking for a kimura but Hunting is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Litter to get the leverage.
Litter is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hunting reverses the position - he's now on top in Litter's guard.

Litter looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hunting has picked Litter up and slammed him! Litter can't keep hold of the triangle and Hunting manages to pass to side control!

Hunting stands up.
Litter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Litter misses with a double jab
and Hunting counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Litter forces Hunting back against the cage and clinches.
Hunting wants to break free but Litter has control.
Litter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hunting gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Litter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hunting scores with a jab.
Cat Litter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Will Hunting is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Litter throws a head kick that misses.
A punch combination from Hunting misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cat Litter showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hunting has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
